Rustic Meets Modern | A Fall Wedding In Louisiana
Traditionally, spring brides (especially those with June dates) get all the love. It’s well-deserved! With those sunny days, true-blue skies and new blooms in bright colors… it’s truly the perfect time of year for a wedding. While spring colors are lovely and bring to mind all things fresh and new, there’s something passionate and bold about the colors of fall. Once you experience fall in the south, particularly in Louisiana, you’ll find there’s also a certain magic.
Katrina & Payne were married in late October in the woods at Sainte Terre. Her style was a perfect mix of rustic and modern. The dark fall colors worked perfectly with the copper, wood and glass accents. Hillary also suggested signage that added a modern touch.
We loved how they put so much thought into each part of their big day! They were creating beautiful memories out of special moments like when Katrina gave her parents handkerchiefs with a personal note from her. Then, during their ceremony they moved to the center of the main aisle so that they could truly be surrounded by friends and family as they shared communion. They also displayed wedding photos of their parents and grandparents at their reception. It was such a lovely day!
